Where to Stay in Paris: Review: Le Terrass'' Hotel

Review: Le Terrass'' Hotel - Paris, France

When traveling to a new city, I always love staying in boutique hotels. I find that they offer a more unique experience and often reside in the best corners of urban cities. I’m constantly searching for the best rooftop views in any city, one of the main reasons that drew me to Le Terrass” Hotel in Montmartre during my recent trip to Paris.

The Service

My sister and I were greeted with friendly front desk staff upon arrival to the hotel. As we arrived well before check-in, we weren’t able to check-in to our room immediately but we were able to store our luggage at the hotel until the check-in time. All staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly during our stay and often provided us recommendations around the area.

One thing that stood out to me was that when my sister stayed up late studying in the lobby, the hotel staff made sure she was taken care of and offered her complimentary coffee and dessert! 🙂

The Location

The hotel is in a great area – only a 15 minute walk from the quaint and artsy Montmartre area. There is plenty to do in the area (+ all walking distance away) from bars, restaurants or a Moulin Rouge show. It’s also conveniently located to several metro spots, making it easier to explore the rest of Paris!

The Terrace

A must-do during your stay at the hotel is to grab a drink and hang out on the terrace on the 7th floor. The outdoor social loft offers a wonderfully relaxed setting with a panoramic view of the Eiffel tower.

Outside the lounge seating in the corner (tucked behind the bar) was my favourite – mainly because of the comfy white cushions and the foosball table! Anyone who knows me knows I love a good game of foosball since I grew up with a table!

At night time, opt for panoramic views from inside the restaurant. Grab a table by the windows with an Eiffel Tower view and watch as the lights sparkle every hour on the hour!

The Rooms

Our rooms had an industrial-chic and modern feel with light wood, cooper furnishings and white, black and red decor.

This Parisian style washroom was one of my favourite parts of this room! It’s spacious with a free-standing tub, mirrors with surrounded with big light bulbs and a magnifying mirror. The bathroom was also complete with L’Occitane products, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels.

Verdict – Le Terrass Hotel Review

Overall, I had a great stay at Le Terrass” Hotel and would definitely choose to stay there again on my next trip to Paris!

There’s wonderful attention to detail from the reading nook in the lobby filled with coffee table books to all the bathroom luxuries. With their industrial-chic room interiors, panoramic rooftop patio, convenient location and friendly staff, they pretty much check all the boxes of must-haves and nice-to-haves I look for in a hotel!
